1st Visit

  • Clean debris from cover ad pump off water (Lock-in & Waterbag Covers) – Bagged debris is left at house, removed upon request $2/bag
  • Rinse and brush cover while on pool
  • Fold cover & bags then put away for the year. Lock-in vinyl covers will be left in bin submerged in water (owner provided) with Algaecide to prevent shrinking
  • Re-install light & de-winterize pool equipment
  • Check system operation
  • Shock pool water
  • Vacuum
  • Trip back if necessary to check pool, vacuum and test chemicals
  • Vinyl or Tarp pools will be left filling and customer is responsible for turning water off

2nd Visit

  • Regarding the condition of water the pool will be vacuumed and cleaned, otherwise 2nd trip will be made within two to three days once pool has had the chance to filter and the green water has cleared. 2nd trip pool will be vacuumed and cleaned. Water will be tested and balancing chemicals, salt, etc added if necessary. All chemicals used except initial shock will be billed extra
  • Additional trip may be needed (technician will decide) and will be scheduled based on availability

  • Check over system operation and shock pool water. Additional shock may be left and guidance given by technician if necessary depending on condition of pool water
  • Vinyl or Tarp pools will be left filling and customer is responsible for turning water off
  • Safety cover pools will be vacuumed on the day if they are not green. Vinyl or Tarp pools will be done if water is high enough to run vac hose otherwise it is the customers responsibility
  • Customers responsibility to do any further vacuuming and cleaning of the pool and to fill water up to 3/4 of the way on the skimmer face plate
  • Customers will need to bring in a water sample to get the pool balanced and add salt

  • Unlock and weigh down/sink lights.
  • Remove pool fittings, ladders, and accessories.
  • Blow out lines and winterize/plug using existing plugs if in good shape otherwise replace as necessary.
  • Winterize all equipment for pool
  • Add winterizing chemicals and antifreeze (cost included *2023)
  • Clean robot and store or pack up for storage.
  • Install winter cover (safety cover, waterbags/tarp, vinyl lock in)

  • Ensure pool is tested and balanced a week or so prior to closing.
  • Ensure pool is clean and free of debris prior to arrival
  • Any special instructions are given to the closing crew.
  • Pool is shocked or  hours prior to closing as this will ensure the water is in the best shape for the winter/spring startup.
  • Pool is left to filter for 48 hours prior to closing. **Do not shut pump off
  • Pool fittings and safety cover bags are left out for crew.
